I have been working full-time as a professional artist since 2000, prior to that I was working on my art in the evenings whilst holding down a full-time job.

In 1991 I held a carving exhibition in the West Coast of Scotland and also a wood block print exhibition the following month.

I have been drawing and designing all my life.

For over nine years now I have been working on Porcelain and ceramic tile art pieces, the idea being to create outdoor art that has strong colour and a NZ content.

I use a Terrazzo tile technique because it is more flexible with design potential and has a comfortable balance when seen as a whole.

Most of my work is framed in Kauri timber or with steel frames.

I have completed various public commissions and have worked with many clients over the years to create a unique design feature to live in their home or outdoor living area, this includes large floor features and large wall panels.

My last public exhibition was at the Steel Gallery in Pukekohe.

My home has a prepared exhibition area for guests to view while also displaying some unseen works.
